Busy busy busy

Yesterday we had a drive round various car salerooms, checking on certain 4x4s that are available both here and in the Phils. We wanted to check if Alice could easily reach the pedals since I am a little concerned about the lack of stability if she is using cushions to support her in the driving seat. Quite a fun time really, but how nice it would be if no attention need be taken of price!
I have always been attracted to open cars and have owned quite a few, but I suspect that the heat here, together with the comment above will ensure that we do not fall into the error of buying something inappropriate for my vast age. And the reduced resources due to the early retirement has made the choice limited to smaller cars in any case, although as Arbroath has shown there are open cars available that fit the bill in respect of size, if not on looking like a tosser.

When younger I had a vision of my retirement home but funds are tighter than expected and I have had to revise my expectations but I have investigated a few realtors and it may well be that a waterfront home in the Philippines is still on the cards.

In any case we will be happy together almost anywhere, with the probable exception of Boggabilla. After all one does enjoy one's wine!
