It has been a difficult period without easy net access, travelling through UK, working in Indonesia and setting up home in the Philippines has meant that broadband has normally been unavailable. But at last I have it and can turn my thoughts into boring (to others) blogging again. Once you get the habit, it's hard to stop even if no-one reads it!
So only those who feel computer access is really necessary at all times will understand the withdrawal symptoms that I have been suffering. But here I am again, muttering, divagating and meandering through life. First let me go back ages to just before we left Singapore for UK and when Iain, Angel and Carl visited us. We had a great time and visited Chymes to eat at Carnivore, which was superb as always and here we can be seen looking pogged and happy, full of food, wine and good cheer.
As they must pass through Cebu on their next visit to Bohol, just a couple of hours sea trip from Cebu, we are hoping to see more of them in the future than we have in the last decade.Following this we were off
to UK to drop Alistair off at his new boarding school. Although I reread "Tom Brown's Schooldays" and "Stalky and Co." in fact I found the school bore little resemblance to these or even to my recollection of my boarding schooldays. Not only that but I am led to believe that it's all fun to him and the fears of tears that I had were entirely unnecessary.
